Welcome to the Joe's Creek - Walnut Garden

Neighborhood Association

 

We're an informal group of neighbors who live in the glorious area of Northwest Dallas bounded by Marsh, Merrell, Walnut Hill and Webb Chapel.

 

We are interested in building our community by getting to know each other, looking out for each other and our children and establishing an identity for our unique little neighborhood.

 

If you live in JCWG, have a parent here, own property in the neighborhood or are from a nearby neighbor group, you are welcome to join us.

The Harmony Produce Co-op is a group of neighbors who shop every two weeks in the Dallas wholesale produce market. Each member pays $10 bi-monthly and then collects their bags of produce at the home of the shopper for that week. Participation is not mandatory, you can skip a shop if you need to, but we normally receive double our money's worth in groceries. We try to buy seasonal produce, which gives us the best price. Our neighborhood has been approved for Calloway’s Yard of the Month program! At the beginning of every month, I’ll submit one house deserving of the Yard of the Month for JCWG. The winner will receive a YOM sign in their front yard for a month, be highlighted through our Yahoo group, and will be awarded a $25 dollar Garden gift card from Calloways! Members of the Yahoo group have already received via e-mail two other benefits of the program: a $5 Calloway's gift certificate and the nursery's monthly plant and yard advice sheet.
 
On the Extra Neighborhood Patrol front -- Please join us for WINE and CHEESE as we pledge to continue the PATROL on Monday, October 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Trish Percy’s house- 10259 Timber Trail.
 
Please bring your form by Trish’s or mail it with payment to Ashley Romo, 3436 Webb Garden Drive, Dallas, Texas 75229. If you are unable to attend, please mail prior to October 1. If you’d like to go ahead and pay your pledge, please do so through PayPal here on our website. You can also download the pledge form by clicking right here and drop it by my house.
